I've only just found out that Hein Gericke have gone into administration (again), I posted my 1- year old £500.00 Summit jacket for a small repair in November 2013, it should have been back with me by now, I have tried ringing around without any luck, no one is answering the phone.:nenau

I know that I'm grasping at straws but I'm aware that my 'like new' Summit jacket is on a hanger somewhere and I would like it back as it is my property and still belongs to me.

Is anyone else in a similar predicament, or does anyone else have any ideas that I can try other than to give up and go out and buy a new outfit.

The Summit was a brilliant and truly dry Gortex jacket!

What can you recommend, who makes the Very Best all-rounder waterproof touring gear? Klim? Rukka? TT, BMW etc???

I'd like the shell to be waterproof as I'd prefer not to have to rely on fitting/removing a waterproof removable liner.

You need to find out who the administrators are and contact them. As you say it is your property and I believe you are entitled to have it back.

Nutty, move this consumer request into the pub, it's diverting attention from the more pressing matter of turning the 1200 GS WC into a fire breathing monster.

Would this be better off in the Clothing and Protective gear section so the OP could actually view the answers.......

There's a temporary redirection from the Toilet section which the OP can click on to bring him here.

It's a long shot, but I remember HG used to use THESE GUYS to do clothing repairs. Whether they might have your jacket, and you could pursade them to let you have it back?

There is an RST adventure jacket in the for sale section. Handy as a stop gap, but might be almost as good.

Too late, Greg has sorted.:thumb

Thank god for that.....moved to the right place eventually. Hello to the OP who can now see all the replies he's had :D
