G'day chaps and dudettes.
Seems as the years tick by (am nearly 31!!!) I ride less and less for pleasure and more just to get where I'm going... which can be fun on occasion, if where I'm going isn't somewhere I've been before... OR is far enough away from where I've been to be a laugh making the trip.
Years gone by the motorcycle club was in had a rule that once a week during the summer we would just ride out, the Road Captain would sit at the back of the pack and whoever wound up in front would lead us somewhere random for a pint and a packet of hog-lumps, then someone else would lead back... it only lasted about six weeks, but still, cracking idea.
So I've set myself the pleasurable challenge to get on my GSA on a Thursday evening and head out for a pint, not just to a local pub in Bristol but somewhere else, somewhere random, suggestions very welcome!
Was going to get the ball rolling tomorrow by riding the A/B's down to Weymouth park the bike by the marina (I've got a boat down there so know its safe and sound) and wonder off for a pint. But in future weeks I would appreciate a "go here, its nice" or "go there, they have a bench outside AND a tree!".
Thoughts? Proposals? Suggestions? Opinions? Propositions? Ideas? Tips? Wonderings?
