Good BMW Mechanic in the North??

My bike is currently under warranty with Williams BMW but when it runs out I would prefer to use someone else.....mainly due to main dealer service costs.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the northwest area. I live in Kendal J36 M6. Id love to take it to Steptoes but alas he is 350 miles away.

Im not able to service it myself before anyone suggests it as an option.

Looks like its RGM or Motorad then post warranty. Probably RGM as they are a fair bit closer for me.

Another "thumbs-up" from me for RGM...

Roy is the only bloke who I'd consider & he always gives my GS a fettle before I go to the TT (valve cearances & TB balance). Usually I prefer to service my bikes myself, but he does such a good job & charges me £30 for his time.

Definately recommend 'Mitch' in Golborne, between Warrington & Wigan. 5 mins off M6, just off A580. 07876-777007.
Tell him Peter (the mitherer) with the red R850GS told you.

UPDATE!!

Rang Mitch's mobile and left messages and sent him a text...............3 days later have still heard nothing.

Rang Roy at RGM and left a message............he rang me back in no time and the bike is now booked in with him. Very helpful chap, very professional.

hiya...fully reccomend Roy at RGM, very decent bloke ..VERY good mechanic....and reasonable prices when you consider Williams and Southport superbikes !
