I know this question has been asked before but i need some work done to my F800GS and i want someone who looks after a bike like it is his own. I have found some numbers but mechanics change and new places open so need a little bit of advice if possible.

I actually found someone i thought would fit the bill but he does not work on the 800.

I need a new set of boots, i need the wheel bearings changing, a new chain and sprockets and a 18000 mile service with the service history stamping.

I would like to get involved with the work if possible, i know there are insurance issues but if you dont ask you dont get.

Im not that bothered with the cost or the distance i need to travel (not much tread left on the TKC's but im sure they would get me there) but i want quality parts used and know im getting a quality service and high standard of work.

This all comes about because i was not happy with the 500 quids worth of work my local BMW dealer recently carried out. Nothing i can put my finger on to complain just little things that annoy me (i wont bore you any more)

Thanks

Shad
