Popped in to SPC yesterday for a general look around (as you do...) - whilst there mentioned that I have not been happy with rear brake on 05 1200GS for some time - loads of free play on brake pedal and minimal braking affect.
Chap from SPC came out and had a look - symptoms not suprising as the pin linking the brake pedal to the rest of the braking mechanism was missing (seemed so bloody obvious when he pointed it out... don't know why I missed it - probably because I am a mechanical imbecile
).
SPC had no spare pins in stock but took one from a showroom bike, fitted it to my bike then and there under warranty, ordered a new one for the showroom bike and I was on my way. No hassle, good service, and I now have a functioning back brake...
