Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knew of a source of pattern indicators for the R1150GS and a few other bm's. Im loathe to pay £45 for a new one and hte rubbish little ones.

Need the indicator head and the stalk for the front l/h.

Injector got delivered this morning (within 20 hours of order!) from motorworks... god bless em! :D should be up and running tomorrow i hope. (this is where i will find out something is drastically wrong with it! hahaha)

I remember a previous post... (which i cant find) IIRC - KTM dealers usually have a lot of indicators lying around that come with but never get fitted to enduro bikes.. these work well on the 1150 and usually are sold off cheap. worth a shot - maybe??

Other than that might be worth asking in the FS&W section.. bound to be someone who has replaced their OE indicators with blingy TT ones.

You could also try here - they're not exactly BMW "look-a-likes", but then neither is the price -

and also Busters

don't know if these help or not !

Cheers Roger,

Unfortunately im not a fan of cheapo indicators... theyre just never as good as originals and always make the indicators look like a bit of an afterthought? I used to be in the "bolt on brigade" now i prefer to keep o.e.m stuff if possible. The ktm stuff is ok... good quality

Thanks anyways though.

I have a load of old indicators lying around that i could bung on if i get desperate :)

Just eager to get it through the mot now!

What a load of rubbish vehicle wiring products are just as good as BM ones perhaps the lower price puts one off? like shopping in Waitrose instead of Tescos.

Rather defensive there... im not slagging off "vehicle wiring products" im just saying that i prefer not to use the cheaper "universal" indicators... because theyre are ussually a trade off between cheapness and performance.

And ill shop anywhere... even lower myself to aldi!

I see sports bikes everywhere with these crappy little indicators made of recyled crisp packets with crappy 5 watt bulbs blinking at 5000 blinks a minute. Most are anodised pink by some styleless chav.

Ive gone through that phase and come out the other for the better! :beerjug:

Theres a company that advertise BMW parts on e-blag..

They build the 'Martin Conquest' Trikes. The R1150R was their donor bike, they sell off the parts that are not req'd for the build (mainly the back end!), so try them.OEM,mostly brand new and should be cheaper than Piddy's :)

Cheers digga, spot on! just found em. Ill drop them a line.

Just on my way over to pidcocks in a few minutes actually. Need a damn injector holder thingy.
