Goodbye GSA

22 months and 23,00 miles. Lots of adventures, great fun and a fantastic commuter. The GSA is going back as a trade in this weekend. Its been the best bike I've ever owned, but the most flawed. Electrical issues, broken shocks and corrosion of every major part after a year. It hasn't tainted my opinion of the bike though, I love the GSA but now feels like a good time for a change. i'm almost certain i'll be back on one in a couple of years, perhaps at the next majour model update. Im trading in the GSA for an S1000R, but picking up an Africa Twin for daily donkey work.

Feel sorry for the next guy, but that is the life of a GSA, glad I bought new looking at the treatment of some hardcore riders lol, enjoy your new bikes.

Given all the warranty work the next owner is getting a pretty new bike!! PLUS this one has a powder coated frame, so wont corrode like the others

Are you trading in ‘as is’ or selling some of the bits off?

I traded it in as a stock bike, so took all the accessories off. Will clean and list them for sale in the coming weeks when I get time!

Yeah, I'm doing it the other way around.

I'm going to beat my Africa Twin to death on the trails, but the GSA is staying firmly on the hard stuff.

I've done exactly the same GSA has gone and replaced with a new S1000R sport, done 3K on it so far and not missing the GSA shall get another in the future though, maybe the new one when its launched

I found it much comfier than the GS seat, but less comfortable than the GSA seat on a long run. Height wise its similar to the GSA seat I think?
