Goodwood 'Convoy' ride-out Saturday, February 28th

As the ride-out has started to get popular, it seems a good idea to take over the old thread ('Chichester 286' etc) with a dedicated new one.


So the plan so far is to meet up at Goodwood Aero Club on Saturday, February 28th for a general hoon around the West Sussex and Hampshire highways and byways. No itinerary has yet been fixed so its up for general discussion.


That said, let me start the ball rolling at least by suggesting a 10:00 meet time. As I am not sure if there are any breakfast facilities at Goodwood in February, we could, for example, head over to Loomies for a fry-up via Petworth, Midhurst, Farnham, Alton - perhaps with a side-helping of coffee at Bahnstormers. Alternatively, we could slope off to Shoreham airport for some grub, maybe followed by a toodle over to Newlands Corner. Let's have some more suggestions and ideas, please.

Better decide where we are going and ring ahead perhaps. With so many we will probably never get everyone to agree so if Oldrascal is up for it can I suggest we let him decide?

why not head back roads north to haywards heath, cross country then down to newhaven for late lunch, then a272 to midhurst and split from there??

in fact, I may have a route I've neen planning for this summer if its of use....
