Goodwood 'Convoy' rideout Sat. Jan 28th

Regular date - SAY 4th Saturday of the month with a variety of starting locations and destinations?

Monthly meet

Yeh I think it could be a good idea ,there are three regular meets in this area none anywhere near us.
I live in Romsey and sort of on the fringes of the sw area but most of their stuff is in Devon and Cornwall.
Perhaps there may be enough tossers in this area to have a central south area,
Sussex Hampshire Surry Berks Dorset.
Anyway back to the point of a regular meet Sundays would allways be best for me.

I'M flexible so any Sunday is good for me ...

Problem is everytime I meet with you tosser's you make me feel I want my GS Back :blast

Anybody want to swap a 08 GSA for a FJR1300 :augie

Cheers
Steve

fjr

I came within an inch of buying a fjr then somebody suggested a test ride on a gsa , the rest is history.I reccon you chose the best colour bikes always look best in black.

Is the FT Twat suit any good?

Hi Nc
Cant report much at mo as only purchased it last month after sliding my BMW Toureg winter Jacket down the road before Xmas.
Can report its very warm with the liner in and is supposed to be waterproof but not fully tested yet, waiting to see if it repels water or holds it like the Twat jacket.
pockets are user friendly and its got a rear pouch aka Twat, didnt get the trousers as they dont do them in long leg size and they dont have zipped vents like the Jacket.
Next time we meet you can give a good going over and try it on.

Brilliant day

In spite of an early start from home Physiojo and I had great day. The Full Breakfast at Goodwood was awesome. I never expected there to be so many Tossers turn up.

Many thanks to NCPearce, Stig and PJ for organising the drop system and just about getting everyone who wanted to from beginning to end. No mean feat.:beerjug::beerjug:

Fantastic to meet so many new faces and a few old ones. :bounce1

Physiojo took the prize for having the smallest bike on the ride out other than these
:augie

We did 230 miles all told. There were some amazing roads, but not too many scary moments. We were knackered by the end of the day.

fantastic start to the year. Roll on Summer. :JB

Regards,

Path.

Oh and the new boots were OK as well. Not too many missed gear shifts:blast

It was good to meet you guys, first the group in Basingrad, then the group in Loomies and finally at Goodwood. I had to peel off from Bahnstormers and in a way I'm glad I did as it must have saved me putting on 1/2 stone in bacon butties and cakes, judging from the other pics !

Here's my suggestion why not have a fast rider group and a slow(er) riders group, then those new to motorbikes or the GS can ease themselves into it and those that like to maximise their investment can enjoy the twisty bits a little bit better.

It was great to ride as a large bunch of tossers though :D:D

Good job!

Good day out, nice mix of roads and was very impressed with how the group stayed together - obviously a remarkably high level of intellect in the group.:augie
Good to see a mix of 650, 800, 1150 and 1200s. Plenty of tyres to kick...

Well done to the leader and sweepers - nice job. Clearly enough local people to meet up from time to time, so second that proposal.

And for those that have difficulty following routes...
