On the basis of last years I think a similar format would probably be best.

So the plan is to meet up at Goodwood Aero Club on Saturday February 27th for a run around West Sussex, and bits of Hampshire.

I suggest meeting at Goodwood at 1000 for a 1030 departure. Fast A-roads across to Loomies (coffee stop?!?) then up to Bahnstormers. From Bhanstormers a scenic run back to White Ways (Bury Hill) for more coffee. Maybe a last leg back to Newlands to drop the stragglers off!

I have the route from last year but might recce something different, with the same stops in, for a bit of variety - also just in case the weather is interesting.

So who's coming? :thumb2

Nigel

Yes well done Nigel for reorganising my idea.Like I said I cannot do Sat 27th as I am watching Saints play.I originally posted the thread because I thought the site was a bit dead and just to see if anyone was up for it. I opted for Sun because I am watching Saints on Sat and it was the closest alternative day, knowing pefectly well it would not suit everyone but if 5 turned up it would have been great.
However Nigel, because you could not go you have decided to hijack my idea and change the date so I cannot go, because I dont no if I mentioned it but i am feckin watching SAINTS play!
Have I done something to offend you, do I smell, what other possible reason could you have for being so damned rude and reorganising my idea.
You did a great job last year and I am sure with your undoubted organisational abilities you will manage to have all the lights on green and no doubt have organised a sunny day to boot.
Anyway hope all you dudes have a great time on Sat. I am still going on Sun cos as I said before Im going to watch Saints on Sat:beer:Catch up some other time. COME ON YOU REDS!!!!:clap

Brig - I am sorry if I have offended you :comfort. As you can see from your post there are some of us who cannot make the Saturday. I have merely offered an alternative - hence my reason for starting a new thread :thumb2

Also some people last year wanted to stop at Bahnstormer's and they are shut on Sundays.

I will be going on the Saturday, cannot guarantee good weather and too be frank will be going even if the weather is crap.

If anyone cares to join me....

See you

Nigel

Devil's Dyke run return was a straight line through Haywards Heath, Ardingly, and up to the A23 I think! No where near Dorking :comfort
