Hi, I was wondering if any of you clever people can solve this one?
Both my wife and I have google mail accounts. We really only use them for the calender on our phones. We have shared our calender with each other and there has been no problems with this.
At work we run google mail, so I have also shared my work calender with my private google email, so in the morning I can check the calender on my phone and see if I have to go anywhere other than my normal site on which I am based.
In sharing my work calender I selected only the view details option. As I have no interest in editing or modifying my work calender when not at work.
So far all well and good, however:
A number of time now I've entered an event on my private calender, via my phone (checking that the event has been created in my private email) and I have not manually added anyone else to the event.
Then having saved the event to my phone, I find it either adds a number of people from my work email address book, and invites them to the event. Or it invites them, but sends it from my work email address.
I understand there was an issue with this a number of years ago, however according to the google forums this was fixed on Andriod 2.3 (I'm running Andriod 2.3.4)
All I can say is I'm glad it didn't invite half the company to the Tosser Curry Night, how to explain that to the management
