Google earth..........

Does anyone know if the Garmin etrex will work with Google earth?! I'm looking to buy the bog standard model to connect to my XDA for use with Tom Tom. But does it have the ability to connect in the same way as the more expensive units?

Not really sure what you mean; Mapsource works with Google Earth - the GPS units have nothing to do with it.

my brother uses his garmin geko with google earth. the geko is about the simplest garmin gps you can get, so presumably the etrex will work too. He bought some cheap shareware to make it easier I think.
