Hi All, I've just ordered a smart remote for my Gopro and initially i was thinking of attaching it to the bike with a piece of very strong velcro onto the flat piece of tank bodywork near to the winglet. I will give it more thought when it arrives but i was wondering those with remotes ...................... where/how have you mounted yours??

thanks

I've got a Drift Stealth and the remote control goes over my right forearm!
Doesn't yours?

I have a gopro remote not sure if it's a smart one anyway I use a valcro strap that you use to keep PC cables together it fits perfect in the gopro remote slots then I just valcro it to the handle bars and turn it on and off from there also u can instantly see if the recording light is on hope this helps

I have the go pro app installed on my iPhone and operate the gopro from that. The phone also acts viewfinder so you can check that the go pro is positioned right. I have a phone mount on my handlebars.

I find this much better than using the smart remote

GoPro Remote

the GoPro remote comes with a wrist band
I mount mine round the front brake reservoir

On my 1150, I put a split ring on the left hand mirror stalk & also thru hole on the the remoevable silver clip part of the unit and used a velcro loop to hold it upright in place on the stalk - could operate easily with thumb from the bars then. Also easily removable when you stop by detaching the silver clip and leaving that & the split ring on the stalk.
