After a slowish spill, I tore holes in the knee and pockets of my Dane Gore Tex XCR trousers. These are the the type with the gore tex bonded to the outer layer.
I sent them off to Lancashire Sports Repair, an approved Gore tex repair centre and they have done such a great job repairing them, you would not realise they had ever been damaged.
I have yet to try them in the rain though, but I would expect no problems looking at the standard of the job done.
I will update on how waterproof they are once they have been tested in anger.
