Gore Tex gloves

At the risk of creating a list of gloves, embracing every manufacturer as so often happens.

Here's another vote for Rukka gloves. Find the style that suits you from their not inconsiderable range. Their sizing is sometimes a bit odd, so be sure to try a pair on for fit first.

A friend swears by (rather than swears at or about) his Dainese kit, so everyman and his dog has his favourite. What I have found useful - and better than thin liner - is sliding over the glove a thin waterproof over glove. (A) It keeps the cold water off the gloves in the first place (B) It creates quite an efficient and much larger air gap which warms up.

Kim element short are very good but pricey Thicker than ruck Apollo but not as thick as winter gloves

Another vote for Apollo;)

The Apollo are not that short a cuff
Brilliant gloves but they don't fit well under a Klim Badlands pro so if anyone has small hands and wants to buy a pair of hardly used contact me

I have chunky forearms (too many hours in the gym as a youngster) and have trouble getting enough clearance under a sleeve to get even short cuffs fastened properly.

Two or three years ago I would have given a big thumbs up for the Rukka Apollo gloves, mine were brilliant for the first couple of years (once you get over the need to buy 2 sizes bigger than normal) , however, after that they proved a total pain.
When taken off especially in warm weather the linings parted from the gloves and started turning inside out , my mate has a pair with exactly the same fault except his also started leaking like a sieve after 18 months, sorry no recommendation

Well the Dainese Valetta GTX don't fit. Made for skinny little Italian hands. Have ordered a pair of VQuattro Design GTX gloves, these are only €99 so I'm not expecting super quality.
