Gortex/waterproof suit for offered use - suggestions please!

Having tried several different 'models' of Klim Gortex pant I've finally resigned myself to the fact that the Klim styling doesn't suit me. So I'm looking for an alternative option of pant and maybe jacket that's waterproof (Gortex ideally), fairly lightweight and can be worn over body armour for off-road use. It doesn't need insulation. My BMW Rallye suit fits great - size 52 jacket and 50 pants - but it's not waterproof in the textile outer shell and I want a suit that is.
Recommendations please! I don't want to spend a fortune and am happy to buy secondhand.

Thanks chaps. I'll look into that but ideally would like a single layer set-up. Hopefully off to Morocco next spring on an off-road trip, for example, and while it will generally be very warm and dry in the south - so lightweight and ventilation will be handy - it could also rain in the north so I need waterproof. The Klim gear is ideal but the design of the Traverse and Dakar pants doesn't work for me, I find them uncomfortable, and prices further up the range start to get silly after that. Wore my twat suit in Iceland back in July and it was great - except for the waterproof layer being underneath the outer textile layer and it rained quite a bit!

If you like your rally suit as I do then ex army gortex will be perfect...

It packs small, it also acts as a warmth layer, it keeps you kit clean, when you are in the dry hot bit your rally suit will be perfect...

I use ex army gortex for the legs and an old cycling waterproof for the jacket, you can also use it off the bike in the evening as the first few stops can be high up and cold

Thanks Wreford. I do like my Rallye suits - got a 3 for road riding on the GSA (though I took it to Iceland) and an older 2 for offroad/travel. The ex-army Gortex option sounds good and cheaper than Klim! I'll look into it. Cheers, Lee

What about a full mesh pro jacket from dainese and then the goretex over the top. Bit of merino and a microfleece or a Rab vest and then you're good to go?
