Got an empty 4th-8th Aug!!!

Got an empty house from Tue 4th to Sat 8th Aug inclusive. This is not an invite to a party but to perhaps an extended thrash round the farther reaches of NW Scotland.

Current ideas include -
Applecross
Ullapool
Durness
Thurso
and back home

I have no real plans so I'm open to suggestions. I'm happy to camp or B&B and fancy a bit of an explore rather than my usual "planned with fastidious precision".

Bugger - I will be up there the weekend before but the area covered looks similar to the route I was thinking about - any tips on good routes / roads
