Popped over to MCT suspension and had my new shock and fork springs fitted today, had the forks serviced too while I was there.
Didn't go the Nivomat route, saved myself several hundred quid and all I have to do is push a button to alter the preload20250411_100826.jpg20250411_114301.jpg20250411_125106.jpg

Darren W is nothing short of a suspension genius...

Looking forward to hearing how it works on the road for you.
I couldn't agree more, this is the second of my bikes he's worked his magic on.
At the risk of sounding like I'm trying to justify the money I've spent.......
The rear shock is fantastic I can feel it soaking up the bumps, keeping the back wheel glued to the road.
No complaints from Mrs Bravo on Sunday when we were hurtling road Norfolk's less than perfectly surfaced back roads.

The front end has been transformed completely with the new springs though this could also be down to the fact that when Darren serviced the forks he put the correct amount of oil in them,BMdubya overfilled them at the last service and I'm guessing every service it's ever had previously.
I'll be having strong words with Lind Motorrad about that, the state of the oil in the fork was terrible.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it will handle when we're fully luggage up July while in Ireland.

Remember ladies, the best performance upgrade is custom built suspension.

Micky on here always reckoned correctly set up suspension was worth 10 bhp more. The Wilbers on my F650 transformed the ride.
