GPR exhausts on EBay. Any good?

I've got 2-1 GPR on my 990 Adventure.Looks and sounds great, weight went down compare to stock by 10 kilos:eek:.

That's a nice looking pipe :thumb2

<sigh> the rack almost touches the standard exhaust, the GPR looks like it could be wider and therefore hit the rack.

Think you're making it up as you go along!

Magnon - FFS I'm not making anything up - I was expressing a worry. Thank you for clearing it up.

You can get off your sodding high horse now you grumpy o̶l̶d̶ goat.

They look sh1t and the hanger bracket has a piece of extended metal between the exhaust strap and the frame ..

It's all about performance

If I was interested in looks I wouldn't have bought an R1200GS, perhaps the ugliest bike ever made. Still, I a drive a Land Rover Defender and it isn't any prettier. Importantly, they suit their respective purposes.:JB

The only things I am interested in are (1) weight saving and (2) performance improvement. A new exhaust can achieve both but I don't know this exhaust can achieve either. Any information would be of assistance as dropping £300 (AUD$475) on no improvement would irritate me no end.

i have a GPR tri-oval on mine, been told many times its the best sounding bike, not just GS, but bike, people have heard!

the hanger bracket could be better.....

change the headers first, this will improve HP
changing only the end can, only changes the sound, you need to change the headers. Even if you leave the stock end can and change the headers, you get the greatest improvement in HP
