Looking for a way out
Dad's asked for a GPS for his birthday, so my usual criteria don't apply on this one.

SIMPLE to use
lane assist functionality
big screen!
nice loud voice prompts..

Any advice or pointer at the right model.

Money isn't an concern (His generosity to me over the years has been astonishing.)

Cheap and easy is the answer :thumb

I've always used garmin on bikes and cars and find them very user friendly.

Good range online at halfords and you can get them out of the box at the store and see if it ticks all the boxes.

hmm - I@m just looking at the web now.
My - the gps world appears to have moved on since the 2610! :rob

I have a Garmin Nuvi for use in the car.

Can't fault it.

Bought father inlaw one of these. About £60.00 or less UK maps. He has only just got to grips with a mobile after many years.:blast however he has sussed the Nuvi quickly:D helps him find hotels after marshalling at racecourses across the Uk. Clerk of course at some meets. Mid 80s top man:cool:
