I've been thinking about getting one of these GPS contraption, probably wouldn't need to use it too often, sometimes in the van, the missus-mobile or on the bike.
Doesn't need to be too smart, but I noticed that Costco are flogging a viaMichelin contraption for £140 odd, which can pick up traffic broadcasts and alter routes accordingly (probably says "stay at home" most mornings), but this is a car based unit.
My tankbag has a clear top window, so I wondered if sticking the GPS in there might be a cunning plan for a car unit to go on the bike occasionally. Might have to resort to a placcy bag in heavy rain though. Have the advantage that the tiny screen is closer to me too.
So the question to all the seasoned GPS users is, once on the go, do you often need to press buttons for some reason? 'Cos frequent button pressing would be tricky.
