Burnie, the power-data cable plug on the 276 (in your photos, previous post) appears identical to the plug that goes into the button-pad portion of the BMW Navigator II. In other words, there is a cable that runs from the BMW Navigator II itself (the GPSR) to the button pad, and the part that plugs into the button pad has the same connection.
I wonder if Garmin is coming out with a new standard for power-data cable configurations here?

Maybe (I borrowed that pic from Cycoactive)
Should be fairly easy to implement that plug in other units as well (GPSmap 60D with voice ?)
Steve on the Adventure Rider forum commented that it latches more firmly than the 176 4 pin plug
PS I know absolutely nothing about any possible GPSmap 60D it is just forward guessing on my part
