Cochem is a popular enough destination.
I lifted this route from Tourenfahrer magazine 8/2024. On the face of it, it looks OK.

Please note:
A. I have not checked it exactly.
B. The bod’s route started and ended in Klotten. Though there is nothing at all wrong with Klotten, I simply amended it to start and end in the perhaps, more familiar town of Cochem.
C. The fellow took a couple of small excursions into towns, which I edited out. Likewise, he appeared to have gone wrong a couple of times and turned around. These I have edited out, too.
D. I think the chap took a small ferry across the Mosel between my points 16 and 17 in the town of Pünderich. MyRoute’s Here maps didn’t show the ferry, so I forced the route across manually. If the ferry isn’t there or simply isn’t running, it would be easy enough to cross on the bridge lower down.
