Convert the file to a .kml one for GE to open.

I did try to upload a kml file but 'system' said format not allowed.
I think only Paul can change that.

Small after thought.
I have often found that there are excellent small restaurants in those villages where the owner is also the chef cooking with local ingredients. So should there be any 'foodies' out there...

The free GPS Visualizer app will convert it, without troubling the janitor.

Once converted (which is easy and quick) Google Earth will open it.

I dragged it into bascamp then saved and exported it to my desktop as a klm file

I have saved this file can I just send it to my garmin satnav or is there more tech steps that need doing .

Copy the.gpx file to the \garmin\gpx folder on your sat nav.

Thank you for this, I am planning a trip in the Summer using MRA and was able to import the GPX as POIs enabling me to see where they are in relation to the planned routes and add them as waypoints.
