Are they all 100% “Great roads, mate, only twisties”? No. But they are good enough to give bods and their six mates (leaving Tuesday) some ideas and, at a push, an absolutely free package for their entire holiday, all with zero effort. Zero effort is good.
Here’s a sample. It’s a route from Le Mans, down to the Mediterranean (close to the ‘must do’ Carcassonne) and then along the Pyrenees, east to west, to Bilbao / Santander. From there you can catch a ferry home. It does though miss out the ‘must do’ Oradour-sur-Glanne and the Millau Bridge, so you’ll need to amend the route if you want to be a true bikermate.

As a rule, I always try to download routes from third parties as a track, as it can help to cut out some of the changes that importing a route can bring in. I can then use the track to create a route, amending it to suit my own purposes.
PS If you want to download the GPX files and or take some notes (screen shots or cut’n’paste) from the blurb, do it now. Amateur websites like these don’t last forever; only as long as their author can be bothered to keep the website live.
