For anyone living in the south east or arriving via the North Sea ports, Belgium and the Belgian Ardennes is easy to get to and often offers some great riding.
The German Ride magazine for April has two suggested routes.


Tour 1 - 160 miles

Tour 2 - 170 miles

Whilst the routes in the article start / stop in places convenient to the article’s author, it would be very easy to amend them. I’d suggest maybe staying in La Roche en Ardenne or Durbury, simply as the two routes overlap there and both are reasonably nice places. Here are the two routes overlayed together, showing how La Roche en Ardenne or Durbury might well make good bases to stay in:
