I'm heading there for the 11 am start. I went a few years back and it was a good day out, although nowhere near as extensive as the bike shows further south. Good advice from Boxed-In about the speed camera vans...
Just finished sorting the local club's entry into the Moped Mayhem. Did it meself last year after not having done it for too many years, and I've still got the lumps & bumps to prove it , so this year I'll just fettle the 'ped and laugh at the others getting run over
Hopefully the club will have a stand up somewhere on site - Moray Coast Motorcycle Club
Guy Martins there this year and a couple of other really good stunt shows (although the Trials stunt team apparently have fallen out and are not even talking with each other ). Its not as big as the BMF rallys but its a great day out with a good variety and you can take some of the best roads in Scotland to get there. The Race at the end of the day is a cracker and I believe they are getting a moped for Guy Martin ...
It seems a bit pricey at first but I think you get in the motor museum as well and that is well worth a visit (and a cheaper cafe than the burger vans at the show).
Unfortunately I cant make it as I'll be on the continent heading down to the Mossel Valley for a Winefest before meeting Bhud at the Stelvio
I'll be around the convention for most of the day, probably sorting a well fecked 'ped out at some point in the afternoon - gotta big hammer for just that purpose
I went there and back via the rollercoaster that is the B974. If only I could memorize all those un-chevroned sharp bends And not a speed camera van in sight (or do I need new glasses?)
