First a bit of advice for anyone thinking of taking their bikes out on the lanes.
Some tips:
Dont Go out ALONE
Dont Go out on Wet Lanes on Road Tyres
Dont load your bike with 3 weeks worth of food, tent, sleeping bag etc...
Dont try all the above on a bike weighing over 260KG
With all that in mind I set out yesterday alone for a 100 mile trip taking in some lanes on the Yorkshire Moors.
Morocco is looming fast so I loaded the Twin up with everything I am going to take with me ( see above )
Left my road tyres on as I didnt want to wear my new TKC`s
The weather was gorgeous but I kinda forgot in all the excitement that we had just had loads of snow which was still melting on the moors.
Anyway a few images to sum up a brilliant days laning and I was very very impressed with how the old Africa Twin handled the conditions which has given me plenty of confidence for Morocco
Any of amount of power and she steps out
A sign of things to come
Getting Wetter
Finding a way round a massive water hole
