SS Overnighter in a Bunkhoose
I phoned yesterday to make tentative enquires about the Bridge of Balgie Bunkhouse. I'm afraid this particular venue is off the radar as they are changing their business and making the bunkhouse into chalet type residences.
Not to worry. I've spotted an even better place. Same idea as the Killin Do (slightly better digs though ): an SS overnighter at a bunkhouse. The new one I've spotted (despite it's remoteness) has a hotel a couple of hundred yards away for eats/drinks/classier accomodation for anyone who doesn't want to "rough" it.
I'm thinking about a Saturday at the end of March, 2009.
Like the Killin Do, it's for one night only which halfs the cost of yer normal event right away.
Another thing I would suggest to keep costs doon...buy a bottle(s) of Jaegermeister instead of payin' for £27 roonds in the pub
Could I get an idea of interested numbers asap please?
