In response to a thread on this site I went offroading on the 1150 last weekend.
Fantastic!
I'd previously done the BM offroad course (great) but this was a more 'do it' than teach it bias.
5 of us including Lee the guide - rest on trailees - me on the BM, made it but seriously knackered - 7 hours of great fun & fantastic scenary.
Lee (1150 & now 1200 owner plus lots of other gorgeous bikes) is a great guide, in 7 hours he barely looked at a map (no gps), great local knowledge, great skills.
Highly recommend it, I'm definatly going back for more (probably with other half) and/or would do a group trip. (own bike or lee can supply)
Not usually comfortable with giving plugs, but have no doubts with this one (especially as he's a GSer)
See Lee's site at WWW.AMCH.CO.UK - he does what it says on the tin!
