Great place to stay!

We’ve done Spain a few times now and the Pyrenees and Picos are stunning but this year we decided to try a new area and have found a totally brilliant place to stay.. In the village of Tivenys near Tortosa an English couple Lyn and Ian run a small holding with a little guest house La Casita. The guest house sleeps two in luxury with a little lounge area and bathroom with walk in shower and cost 50 Euros per night including a really nice breakfast. But as there were 6 of us for 10 euros per night they let 4 of us camp in their orange groves next to the house and we got breakfast! If you don’t want to camp they also have a house that sleeps 6 in the village.
La Casita has a pool and a barbeque and generally they are a couple of the nicest people you could meet. The roads round about are stunning and the trip from Tivenys to Bennifallet is one of the most ridiculous laugh out loud roads we’ve ridden. Mount Caro is about 20 k away with views out over the Ebro delta as far as Majorca and the ferry across the river to Miravet is a hoot. If you want a base to chill for a few days and even do some fishing in the river (tackle provided) then it’s fantastic. Photos on Facebook http://goo.gl/gwobd We will be back next year.
