Great Service from Steptoe once again

Friday rode up to see Steptoe for the 24000 mile service on the 1200 and I must say he did a great job I also got FREE TEA so if you need your 1200 servicing he is your man a great job at a great price.

Everything as per bmw service schedule, including 4 new spark plugs, final drive oil change, gearbox oil change, air filter and brake fluid change - £250. And a free loan bike, but eddie decided to stay watched a movie instead...................

The tea was an unexpected bonus.

When he did mine it was full workouver, all the fluids indcluding oils/tfanssition etc, clutc and brake oils, timing, valve clearances, balance the thottle bodies and anything that looks like it needed it. New airfilter,plugs etyc.

I seem to remember it awas £200 and, as it was my first bmw he let me hang aroudn asking questions and he was gractious enough
h to answer giing me in insite into the engine, i'd only had Jap 4's before .

Bargain.

I seem to remember the 12000m service last year (the same as above) on my 05 bike at my local BWM dealer was well over £400, possibly closer to £500

I'll big up Steptoe's service. 12,18,24 and coming up to 32k servicing. I've missed out on the biscuits but the loan bike always helps.
