Green lane/patch Tolworth, Surbiton area?

Rather than making a mess of my XCh learning to ride off-road, I'm seriously considering buying a Honda CRF250X (lighter, less power etc). While in London I've booked a test ride this Thurs. with Tippets at Tolworth. I will be grateful if someone knowledgeable of the area can point me in the direction of a small grassy patch or lane where I can at least stand up to pootle around and be a little less likely to scratch the bike if I drop it. I certainly don't need and jumps, ruts etc.!

How about a guided ride out on the Surrey Lanes – starting from the world famous Rykas Café, about 20 minutes from Surbiton/Tolworth...

Have fun. Its a fairly easy run and wouldn't be a major problem on an Xch
