Any tossers out there fancy a run out at the end of this week. I know of a few lanes near Sheffield but it'd be good if anyone who knows anything different could show me something new. Looking at the pics of the last rideout I don't recognise those lanes. As a very new tosser (3 weeks on the site), I might be getting a bit ahead of myself in suggesting this but if there's no takers I'll just go and play with myself. Errr, I mean go and play on my own. Either Thursday or Friday would be great for me.

I might be around for this, shouldnt go out on your own though. Not on a big bike.:nono

SHould know for sure mid week.
:)

Fair point about not being on my own but I'll be using the 650 not the adv, partly 'cos its got Karoos on while the adv has road tyres at the moment but mostly because the 650s a bit rough round the edges and I'm not as bothered about a few scrapes.
Still a heavy lump, but a its bit more manageable.
Hope you can make it.

I`m on for this, shall we say Katies Kitchen on the A623 at Wardlow Mires for 930 breccy then a 10am start?

Anymore takers?

Eyup girls,

Would love to but off to sunny Shropshire on Friday, umpalumpa is now fully functional ( dont talk like a cnut) and is ready for some a/f fun.

The weather report says Friday looks a bit better, but I`m easy for either.

Either day works for me, but if its going to be a nicer day on Friday shall we go for that? 0930 for 1000 sounds good to me.

Friday is good for me. I'm just waiting on a new footpeg for the Xc which should be with me by Thursday, so assuming that turns up I'm good.

Some of us east midlanders are going out on a run on sunday if you would care to join us. Meeting in coalville so only down the road for you!

Cracking day that lads, Paul, you will kick yourself. After we had a brew at Katies the sun came out and was lovely all day.

Some challenging little lanes with a lot of mud ( and a few kind folk had put trees across some of the trails:eek:).

4 was a good number to take out though :thumb2

See you all next time.

I right properly enjoyed that, but you probably new that by the stupid grin all over my face all day. Thanks to the two of you who guided us round. It was great to see what you could do on your 1200 too, its the first time I've seen one used properly offroad. Respect due. :beerjug:

Cheers lads, that was a great day out! What a fantastic area for trail riding, great views and tricky but GSable lanes
(As proven by Gaz absolutley loving chucking that 1200 about :thumb:cool:).

Thanks to the two leaders for picking a great selection of trails, and to High-tower for the 'scenic route' home, and a fun ride through the sheffield traffic!:thumb2:
Love the fact these bikes can do what we did and then burn up the motorway miles too!
Count me in for the next one:thumb2 :beerjug:
