green spade connection lead next to starter relay 1200GS

Does anyone know what this lead is for? 12v when ignition key switched on and 0 when switched off. I want to use it for a switchable 12v supply.

With a spade connector that ain`t no BMW factory fit.
Almost certain that someone has done this before you, for the same reason.
But I could be wrong.........
