Huvnae been on the site for ages due to long periods in hospital etc. Things now looking well and hoping to be out and about quite soon. My 08 R1200GS was stolen earlier this year CCTV caught the tail end of four guys and a white transit which was little help. The police who arrived who were bikers themselves said that there had been a spate of high end" to order" stealing in the area and the bike would probably be in Grimsby by now.........Anyhow......loved the GS however never go off road so I'm stuck between a new GS or RT. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
Due to the theft I have some super stuff that I need to sell. Thought I'd give folk north of the border the first whack. Just learning how to post pictures etc, so will probably appear in the "for sale" section in the near future.
New Vario panniers....used once on a trip to Skye, standard seat, unused........ really want to sell as a job lot and will throw in front fender extender, new, grey handguard thingies,new, front footpegs, discoloured but fine , complete original bolt set, need steeping in broon sauce for a few days if you get my drift.............Folk that know me will know that the stuff is kosher as I would not bother anyone with a wasted trip. Offers to suit both parties thanks...........Anyhow back to the GS v RT thingie
