13 plate LC, fully serviced; blah blah. Now having issues with my jog wheel and TPMS. The wheel wont work the satnav half the time i'm out and about which is mildly annoying. I can just stroke the Nav screen; but only when stationary Officer!
The TPMS in my front wheel goes AWOL now and again, so que amber flashy triangle on dash to let me know. And the rear readout keeps dropping from 42psi to 37 then just stays at that. I pump up the tyres to correct pressure but the dash readings say otherwise! Possible battery failure perhaps; bike is 5 years old.
Lind BMW reset my wheel sensors for me but still not working properly it seems. So to be told that the coin shaped batteries are £146 each (not replaceable apparently so new units needed) is a big pill to swallow. What stupid spud thought sealing in the single use batteries was a good design?
So, anyone bought 2nd hand TPMS/jog wheel and happy or changed out the batteries. I'd be interested to hear.
Cheers.

There’s a wee cover underneath the jog wheel switch cluster. Uncilip it and make sure the tiny canbus plug is fully home.

Try cleaning the sat Nav mount contacts with a stiff nylon brush, and then give it a spray with electric contact cleaner. It sorted my wheel out.

Perfect excuses for a nice shiney new bike....

Had a new R1200RS as a loan bike today - deceptively quick and smooth compared to my GS - cramped and too compact mind... GSAP was particularly smooth.

Are you interested in buying one?!!!

No, living in a mid terrace I only have room for one bike and a 1200RS isn't the bike for the majority of my riding.
