My bike (6oookilm Adv) seems to have a grinding noise when cornering either way!.Any ideas? I cannot think how to expand on the symptoms, except it may be just me being nuerotic.
Thank you.

Mark,
I have a 2002 GS. It has the same syptoms as you describe. Did you ever find out what was causing it mate ?? If so please tell me as it's doing my bloody head in !!!!
I am an Englishman who lives in Thailand, finding it hard to find anybody here with a good knowledge of the bike.

Regards Steve.......

They all do that, but check your rear wheel play, it may be the Rear Bevel big bearing, but mine only did it on left handers if I remember.

I do not know!!! it has gone now:) . I complained about it at my 10,000 kilometre service , the mechanic said they could not find any thing but the noise had strangely disapeared when i rode it out..

Aaah - they must have tightened all the wheel and suspension nuts up.

Hi Mark

Put some grease on the underside of the rocker covers, they'll slide over the road easier and with less noise when you're cornering:D
