Grip-lock security lock

Has any one got any experience of this ?

I've measured the width of the bar on my 800GS and its 29 mm so it will fit.

Its never going to be as good as a chain round the back wheel but is much easier to carry around.

Unless someones has a better idea !

What's to stop a scum bag snapping off the brake lever and letting the lock hang. Still nick your bike and still use the front brake (one fingered like some do on the road).

I've successfully ridden with the brake lever snapped off almost at the mount!

Don't think this is more than a deterrent to the passing kiddy unfortunately!
