Has anyone used these tickets for Austria, are they worth getting.

I will be doing a trip in Austria and do intend to travel the Grossglockner, Nockalmstrasse, possible Gerlos and the Malta High Pass.

If you are staying around Zell am See a good day trip is over the glockner south towards lienz then head towards bruneck in northern italy, just before there turn north up the antholzer tal and over the staller sattel (two nice restaurants one on the italian and the other on the austrian side.
From there travel back towards Matrei on the felbertauernstrasse and turn north going through the felbertauerntunnel up to Mittersil and then back to Zell.
A roundtrip ticket covers you for the glockner and the felbertauerntunnel and saves 5 or 6 euros

That's included in the price if you stay at http://www.hochalmspitze.com/ . Another good B&B in Austria is http://pensionhausmaria.com/ , Abi + Denise are bikers and think they give away the Karnten Card to. Well recommended Abi spent a few hours putting routes into my GPS.

Austria has the best roads I've road, every one on your list isn't to be missed, I'd also add the Predil Pass, dip into Slovenia and Italy with some good views.

Depends where you are staying, we give a card that gives unlimited free use of the Nockalmstrasse, Villacheralpine Strasse, Maltahochalmstrasse (it's not a pass as it is a dead end) plus loads of other stuff (mountain railways, chair lifts, boat trips) all free. Every guest gets a card which is valid for the duration of your stay. The card only gives a discount on the Glockner but we add to that discount if you stay 3 nights or more

Tickets like the one you mention only allow one use of each road. If you stay in this region for a few days you will want to ride the Nockalmstrasse several times. We had one man do it 8 times in a day last year. Same for the road up our valley the Maltahochalmstrasse, it's not unusual for guests to ride it several times. With the card you can do so as often as you like.

And you get a free beer when you arrive here!

Handy being so close to the Hotel, especially if two-up like I was, at the end of a day out you can drop off the Mrs and go up and down the Maltahochalmstrasse solo - which seemed pretty deserted late afternoon / early evening, especially going up.
