Hi All,

Thanks for your patience! Since I have got back I have tried hard to get something on these new units. Some retailers have been very unimpressive, indeed the one I was originally going to use, a well known establishment in the south-east I have given up with. This after years of using them (recent sale of the franchise is the issue). With these G9's being so new onto the market it has been a struggle..............

Anyhow, I have managed to get somewhere. The most economical method is to get them in Powerset Pairs (x2 headsets) which is good if you need a pair, but means I would have to split them if you want a single headset. For this to work I need to have a firm order of 5 Powersets (10 x headsets). These Powersets retail at £449.99 but can be found at slightly reduced prices for about £429.99

The retailer does not want to be identified, as you can understand but will send these to me and I will mail these out to you. If you are interested can you please PM me. With the onward postage at cost, it would be about £190-195 per headset, £380-385 a pair

If we were to get a really big order it may be slightly cheaper, but as I say a new product which is very popular, so not guaranteed.

So it is time to decide - as I say I need at least 10 confirmed buys............. Over to you guys, anyone want to put their money down!

just been having a look around for a good price and this place in italy has been selling pairs for £334 they are asking £358 or best offer on ebay, i went into his feedback and he must be a major scala retailer selling loads of sets i also noticed that a lot of feedback was from english buyers who bought g9's and very satisfied. free shipping as well, he has 10 sets left im sure you could get him down to £320 mark maybe less, anyways he's the link and i would make a buyer if anyone's interested

This is a good price and I would be interested but I only want one so splitting pair essential to me. The problem that I see is how we manage receipts in terms of guarentee issues?

I suppose that would be the difference in these two options. The vendor I have made contact with is a UK operation and the kits are UK spec, so any issues with the units can be resolved easily. There will be a 'master' receipt. Think of it as the latest G9 for the less than the price of a G4... I am sure in time there may be better deals to come, but dealing with the here and now...........

That said if the italian site can do them for £160 a pop it may be worth a punt, even with a Euro charger and gambles on warranty etc.

But the UK distributers are trying very hard to keep these at close to retail money as possible in the UK. I have tried and will give it till next week, if there is still insufficient interest then I will park the idea, and admit failure.

Im interested but only require a single unit.
Im just wondering what would happen if the item is faulty would returning under guarentee be ok? Not sure how the receipt would work when buying several "dual" sets.

i asked him for a deal for ten twin sets as per this thread, he said we can pay by paypal seperately, their even cheaper when i last looked at the exchange rate £280 in delivery! i dont think we are gonna get ten people interested so im going to strike another deal so ill let you know
