GS 1150 Fuel guage not working

Hi - with no warning, my LCD fuel gauge has ceased working and has activated the low fuel warning light at the same time - despite plenty of petrol in the tank.

Can anyone provide a solution please?

Check the multipin connector which connects the tank wiring to the main harness situated on the right side of the bike under the plastic trim by your knees. The connections often become green and have poor connections as a result.

I've just had my wiring harness serviced so its strange that it has happened now, but I did have an unexpected 'get off' on Saturday (no harm done to me at least) but that is what's probably done it.
