Anyone know the type of fabric and the specifications of the seat covering for the red two part seat for the GS 1150 please.

anything you want to cover it in...i don't think you have too many problems with getting your seat wet in Dubai

Don't bother trying to get the exact material (if you are planning on getting the seats recovered). Just go to a marine shop and ask them where they send out to get stuff recovered. Why a marine shop? They use a higher quality of vinyl than BMW.
When you find a place, and you want them to recover the seats, also make sure that they use stainless steel staples (to prevent rust).
