I got a piece of 22mm Hex bar, 100mm Long from Berkshire Metals in Reading. Cost 50p

I made a load last summer as a charity fundraiser and sold them here for £4.50 delivered. I have a few left - 22mm hex bar easy peasy.

Bought the genuine workshop tool from my BMW dealer which was only about £7.... It fits nicely under the seat, in the BM toolkit. However, you do need an adjustable or 22mm spanner/socket to turn the thing!

I bought the BMW tool that SHOULD (in my opinion) already be in the took kit - just a few quid and of the BMW spanners (17mm I think) fits over the other end.
