Hi
Anyone fitted these - black plastic & supplied by Rugged Road - crap instructions (also in Italian) & don't want to cock it up.
Any pics or guidance wld b appreciated.
Cheers

Piece of piss, you cable tie the bit with the female thread to the fork legs then screw on the plastic guards with the screws provided. Test assemble with the cable ties still moveable, then tighten fully and trim once happy with the fit. (IIRC I wrapped some electrical tape around the fork legs first to prevent the cable ties chafing at the anodised finish beneath.)

How hard can it be ??

Try some helicopter tape for the fork uppers to prevent stone chips.

As you've bought the GS1200 ones rather than the 1200GS ones make sure they're not fitted upside down ;)

Eloquent instructions Adam....:P

I didn't use electrical tape....my FP's came with 4 strips of 5mm thick black foam to use........which was nice :D

Be careful with these. They can rub the paint off your forks if your not particularly careful setting them up.

i agree ive used 3m heli tape on all my bikes, mountain bike, trials bike, enduro bike, now my gsa in different areas where needed. It does a excellent job and doesent look cheap or peel when fitted with a heat gun correctly.
