I like them :thumb
How are they secured ?

There are two brackets on the inside to which two tie-wraps secure the brackets to the fork legs - also included is some self adheshive tape to protect the legs where the tie-wraps attach - real easy to put on :thumb2

Just fitted some of these on my new 1200.:thumb Is it me or do the screws not tighten completely? I've had to move them around a bit to avoid rattles, but they seem to be OK. We'll see after a few rides.:beerjug:

Protectors?

What is the point of these? just a bit more junck you have to take them off every time you remove the wheel/ braks. What real protectors are is fork gaitors to cover the moving parts. Had them o n My 1150 a pair from and R80 RT fit and have never changed a fork seal in 87,00 miles!.
But as usual junk rules and doubtless they will be brought like some of the other rubbish available.

They protect the forks from stone chips, and AFAIK don't have to be removed to take the front wheel off.:rob With only 2 screws holding each one on, even if you do have to remove them, it would only take about 5 seconds per side. I'd rather that than chipped forks on a brand new bike.:beerjug:
