Here's the seat off my old 1200 GS. It was a 13 plate. Not sure but I expect it will fit the 1250 too.
If you check out the images you'll see it's in good condition, date of manufacture and some other numbers also in images. However, those lovely sailors that strap bikes down as if our voyage is going to encounter south Atlantic swells, managed to damage it with too much pressure.
As an aside, the Bay of Biscay was a mill pond on that crossing.
The plastic base has a crack which distorted the seat a little, you'll see a little asymmetry. As a result the ferry paid for a new one.
It's usable, I rode back from Portsmouth to the Midlands. But may benefit from a bit if plastic welding to strengthen it up.
Anyway, it's of no use to me now.
