Hi Guys
Looking to fit a Sat Nav, is the dedicated plug the black thingy near the oil cooler ?.

I have no idea why the plug is so expensive, I tried all over to buy an alternative. I ended up buying the Nippy Norman one. Its not colour coded so follow the wire numbers on the info sheet you should get with the plug.

I've got a new/unused one of those leads you can have for £13, post free!

Just in case you don't get the wire codes
Wires are numbered and need connecting as follows:
No 1 lead earth
No 2 Do not use
No 3 12v ignition switch

Sorry valley boy, somebody jumped in after your 0920 posting, seeing the way was clear and struck a deal. Not your lucky day I'm afraid. John

No 1 lead earth

No 3 12v ignition switch

No 2 use if you fit proper cruise control or have a GPS unit that can read the speed.

That wire has a pulse on it from the speed sensor.

Granted not much use to most people but it might be handy to know for some.
