what are the difference between a 07 1200gs and a 2010 1200 gs and do the differences improve the bike .

A 2010 bike will be a Twin Cam which is the better bike of the two

Hi rov they updated them later in 08 that's the one I've got and I'm over the moon with ,and then I think updated again in 2010
To twin cam engine ,just depends on what you want to use it for and finance's
I'm sure someone else will be along to give you a little more insight to the differences

The 2010 is a twin cam and a lot more expensive. It's a peach of an engine and definitely a bit more pokey then the 07 but not that much in the real world.

They changed the single cam slightly in 07/08 to give a bit more punch at the top end but I personally prefer the older one as it has a bit more torque below 5000rpm where most GS's like to be.

All are good though and you will enjoy either one.

Go for the 2010 Twin cam of you can. Better on the upper end of the rev range. I would be tempted to revert back to a TC GSA.
I loved mine.
