Gs 850. Is it worth it.

Came across a 850 gs yesterday. Only done 25,000 sounds and runs well. Cosmetically worn but nowt a deep clean won't sort. Guy wants around 2500 pounds.whats the collective view is it worth that kind of money.

I am looking at an 850 with 50k on the clock for 2k, so at a guess you are in the right ball park.

Not so many of them around.

Considered by many to be the optimum engine size for the job required, and certainly not overshadowed by its larger brother. £2.5K seems a lot, I'd be aiming at £1800 to give me room to replace all those items that an infrequently used bike will require.
